Prices

Sterk Law Firm aims to offer competitive prices for our services. Our fee is primarily determined based on the time spent, but it will also reflect the complexity and difficulty of the assignment.

As lawyers, we are subject to the Norwegian Bar Association's Code of Conduct for Lawyers (Regler for god advokatskikk). In cases involving consumers, we also follow the Norwegian Competition Authority's regulations on price information for goods and services. This means that at the start, the client receives information about the current hourly rates, how the fee is calculated, and our billing procedures. We can also agree on ongoing reporting of incurred costs as needed.

For private clients, we operate with a recommended hourly rate in the range of NOK 2,500–6,500 incl. VAT, depending on the nature of the case. In special cases, we may deviate from this range. The minimum billing is 15 minutes per work session. Any special expenses related to the case will be in addition to the time-based fee. For corporate clients, the price is determined by separate agreement.

We are not permitted to take cases on a so-called "no cure, no pay" basis, and our fee cannot be solely linked to a percentage or share of the outcome of the case, in accordance with the rules of the Norwegian Bar Association.
